The Short Version

We collect only what we need to run the platform. We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We don't mine it for insights to sell to third parties. Your photos are yours. When you leave, we delete everything.

That's the spirit of this policy. The rest is the details.

Who We Are

Studio by Råven is operated by Ravn Ltd, a company registered in Colorado, USA. When we say "we," "us," or "our," we mean Ravn Ltd.

What We Collect

When you join the waitlist: Your email address, studio name (if provided), photography focus, what's broken about your current workflow, and how you heard about us. We use this to understand who's interested and to reach out when it's your turn.

When you create an account: Your email, password (encrypted), business name, and any profile information you choose to add.

When you use the platform: The content you upload (photos, client information, invoices, contracts, etc.), and usage data like which features you use and how often. This helps us understand what's working and what needs improvement.

Automatically: Basic technical information like your browser type, device, and IP address. We don't use third-party analytics or tracking cookies. All usage data stays in our own systems.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and improve the platform
• Process payments and fulfill print orders
• Send you important updates about your account
• Respond to your questions and support requests
• Understand how people use the platform so we can make it better

We don't use your information to build advertising profiles, sell to data brokers, or anything else that feels gross. If it's not on this list, we're not doing it.

Your Photos and Content

Your photos are your property. Period.

When you upload content to Studio by Råven, you grant us a license to store, display, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you and your clients. We will never use your photos for marketing, sell them, or claim any ownership over your work.

You can revoke this license at any time by deleting your content or your account. When you do, we destroy everything immediately.

Service Providers

We use a small number of trusted service providers to operate the platform:

• Payment processing: When you pay for a subscription or your clients pay for prints, payment information goes directly to our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Print fulfillment: When clients order prints, we send the necessary order details to our print lab partner so they can produce and ship the order.
• Infrastructure: We use cloud hosting providers to store your data securely and deliver it quickly.

These providers only receive the data necessary to complete their specific task. They don't get access to your full account or content. We don't share your data with anyone else.

Data Security

We take security seriously. Your data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS everywhere) and at rest. Passwords are hashed and salted. Sensitive information like payment credentials are encrypted with strong keys.

We're a small team, which means fewer people have access to your data. That's a feature, not a bug.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your data: You can export your galleries, client lists, and other content at any time.
• Correct your data: You can update your account information whenever you want.
• Delete your data: You can delete your account at any time. When you do, we immediately and permanently delete all your content, client information, and account data. The only thing we retain is basic payment records for our own accounting.
• Know what we have: Email us and we'll tell you exactly what data we have about you.

Children

Studio by Råven is a business tool for professional photographers. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

Changes to This Policy

If we make significant changes to this policy, we'll let you know by email or a notice in the platform. We won't quietly change terms and hope you don't notice.
